Best option for personal WiFi in japan. The device worked all over japan, from mountains to the largest cities — it was always reliable.

Fantastic way of having internet through the whole of Japan. Had no problems. Internet is not high speed, but it is reliable and fast enough.

very helpful and very good connectivity. however there is some problem in GPS in Tokyo as it would show accurate locations on maps. may be that is the app for maps which could be the cause.

I stayed in Tokyo for 6 days and rented a pocket wifi from Japan Wireless. Pick-up at the airport was easy, and activation was simple as it came with written instructions in English. Drop-off was even simpler as long as you follow the instructions.

Speeds were good, and reception was great everywhere, even underground. The included power bank was extremely helpful where we were out all day.

The unit did stop working at one point, but the included troubleshooting guide fixed the issue right away.

Overall, great product! Would definitely use it again for future trips.

The service was very convenient, I was a bit worried of getting lost trying to find my way through Tokyo and Hakone. The service was very strong and the device battery life was very good. I would definitely use their service again.
