So glad I got a pocket wifi in Japan. Made travelling so much easier with it.

Battery didn't last long though and wire was a little flimsy but I guess thats because its overuse and most likely chucked into a bag to loosen connection up. Ended up connecting it to my own portable battery.

Still would use this company again when I visit Japan again.

the router is perfectly functioning and absolutely necessary for a foreigner traveling in japan
the only criticism regards the duration of the charge of the supplementary battery: the router plus the supplementary battery don't last a full exploring day
