This was my 7th trip to Japan and finally decided to use a service like this and I wish I had done so in the past. Having the use of Wifi 24 hours a day without the worry of roaming charges or paying for extra data made such a massive difference especially when needing to check maps, just looking for some entertainment while riding the train and talking to my friends and family back home. The speed was always consistently good and I only lost connection once through my whole trip, but even then turning it off and on got it working again. The instructions to set it up were really easy to use and it was working within a minute of opening the package. The instructions to post the wireless back were clear to. The price is worth it, for me the wireless is about £5.50 a day, if I want to buy mobile data its is £6 for 100mb so the Wifi is definatly the better choice and way much more better value for money and so much faster. I am visiting Japan again in August and I have already booked Japan Wireless again for my stay.

I could make calls to my husband back in the US via WiFi calling. Made navigation seamless- even navigating the left side of the road driving through kilometer after kilometer of massive tunnels on the expressway from Takayama-Shi to Kanazawa-Shi

Ideal for families, or more than 1 person travelling together. Better affordable choice.

Pocket wifi kept us connected for three weeks even in remote places. We had up to four devices connected and worked without a hitch. Pickup and return were straight forward.

Device was at our Hotel on check in. Great coverage. Highly recommend Japan Wireless.
