Using the the Japan Wireless router and having unlimited data allowed me to use the maps and websites enabling us to travel through Kyoto and Tokyo easily. The additional power pack was a bonus and very handy
eventhough data cap is small but the speed is fast.

Our family rented three pocket WIFI and used the extra batteries that came with the routers often. We were able to communicate well with each other when we were separated and enjoyed the ease of pick up at the hotel and drop off at the airport post office.
