Japan Wireless pocket wifi was super convenient to have during my first trip visiting Japan! Wifi may be available in public places but the Pocket Wifi is necessary if you’re out and about exploring areas outside city limits. The service is smooth and setup is super easy as well as the return procedure. Rates are also at a great price and you can extend your service in case you plan on staying a little longer. I enjoyed having the Japan Wireless pocket wifi where you can connect multiple devices and stream videos, social media, and Google maps, all while having peace of mind staying connected. Definitely recommend and will use again for next time!👍🏼

It works anchored in the middle of the ocean surrounded by land. And it definitely works so much better on land. Super quick. Price is just right. Thank you for the service.

The device provided worked excellent during our stay in Japan. No issues and the connectivity was perfect. I would definitely use again when I return and would recommend others to use this as well.

Worked great for our 7 day trip. Very fast speeds and great signals everywhere, including the metro areas. Battery was a little weak and would require recharging almost everyday while out but came with a backup charger. Very easy to pick up and return via the mail at the airport. Highly recommend over a SIM card.

I was very satisfied with the speed and reliability. It even worked well while I was in the Northern Alps!

It's my second time using it and it's really great! Coverage is great - only in very remote areas we lost connection. And returning the device is as easy as it could be.

Unfortunately, this time the included powerbank had less juice than when i first used the service. Back then, in 2019, we were using the router from 5 AM until, like, 10 PM. But now i had to recharge it in afternoon or use my own powerbank. And it's not fun losing internet connection because router's battery ran out at a very inconvenient time.

On the other hand - opening hours of the pickup spot on Narita Airport are very convenient. We have arrived by a delayed flight and BARELY collected out JR Passes before their closing time, but we had zero reason to stress about Japan Wireless pickup. Thanks for that!
