Works very well everywhere in Japan during our 7 days trip. Connected to 3-5 devices almost all the time. Battery lasts for about 8 hours and then the included portable charger becomes handy. We went to Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto and Nara.

An essencial item for our Japan trip. We had a great time with this pocket wifi, and it has solved every problematic situation.

We rented the unit for 10 days. Very good reception and clear instructions. The battery did not sometimes last throughout the day, but thankfully Japan Wireless provided a battery back-up pack with the unit.

i travel with my group from tokyo to Hakone to Atami to Nagoya road trip and i found it has absolutely no problem getting reception.

Best wi fi for japan

The unit was already at the hotel when we arrived. We had connectivity throughout our stay! Reasonable cost to stay connected. Will use this again next time we are in Japan.

It is very useful travelling around Tokyo. Easy online ordering, pick-up and drop-off at the airport. Very good range especially for a family of 5. Battery last long and has a back-up powersource if needed. Great deal!!! Highly recommended.

Very good company and service

This is the 2nd time I have had the experience of using JW: the first was using a data SIM which a friend bought when were still in Manila for our trip in Oct-Nov 2022 and the second was buying/using a pocket wifi for a family trip (3 pax) last July 11-22. The data SIM worked perfectly on my locked mobile device. It was like 'plug and play,' unlike the data SIM my Jap colleague bought in Japan for me which didn't work on either locked or unlocked cell phones. Then last month, I rented a pocket wifi from JW; using it was easy peasy. We could connect more than 3 devices at the same time, and wifi connectivity was strong. I have recommended JW before and would def get them again the next time I visit Ja-fun, which I hope would be soon.
