Good service. the only thing that it's possible improve is the duration of the battery.

My son and I used the Japan Wireless Pocket Wi-Fi when we recently went to Japan. The device (and extra battery that was provided) were extremely useful for navigating the streets of Tokyo as well as the trains to various locations outside of Tokyo.

We were able to get information on what to see and where to eat when ever we needed it.

I would not travel in Japan without the Pocket Wi-Fi device - it was the best...

Having the pocket Wi-Fi was essential for our trip, as we were checking HYPERDIA for train schedules and maps. Our only problem was charging it, we had to keep taking the battery in and out before it would charge.

Great service, overall, at a fair price!

We pre-arranged for service and upon arrival at Narita Terminal 2 the unit was waiting for us the post office. Booking the unit was easy and the pricing was a very good value. The pickup was simple and the post office staff were helpful and friendly. The package had a charger, cable, the unit and an external battery pack. Setup instructions were simple. Coverage was fast and extremely reliable, even on the subway and Shinkansen. We put the unit back in the included return shipping envelope and dropped the unit back off at the airport post office at departure (although we could have brought it to any post office). This is a great service, will use again and recommend.

This transformed the way I think about Wi-Fi abroad. I could watch Netflix on the Tokyo subway. My data plan at home in London doesn't allow me to do that. Two phones connected at all times, and it always worked perfectly. Needed to be charged towards the end of the day but I carry around a portable charger anyway. Best decision of the trip as having Wi-Fi was indispensable for getting around Japan
