I loved this wifi. It was small and fit into my purse. My friend and I both were able to use it. It helps alot with navigation around Japan!

Just always charge it right before bed and you will have no problems.

I also really appreciated that they gave me a return mail package that I could drop in the mail box before we left the country.

I had ordered a internet package from Japan Wireless it was fast and easy to do and also to return the product was just as simple, worked well thru out all the areas of Japan. I definitely would not have been able to keep in touch with family and friends. The very best thank you

Perfect as usual

We recently spent three weeks in Japan. Since our phone provider charges far too much for roaming charges when away from our home country, we wanted a portable wi-fi for the time we were in Japan. After doing some research, we decided to go with Japan Wireless. We arranged for the unit to be left at our hotel and it was there and waiting for us when we arrrived. Set-up was quick and easy. The unit worked very well and we had service immediately. There was one issue and that was that it did not work at all in Okinawa, so that meant we paid for one or two days when we could not actually use it. Return was quite easy -- an envelope was provided and all we had to do was package it in the envelope and drop it in a mailbox when we left our last hotel. (I understand there is somewhere to drop it off at the airport as well -- possibly there are mailboxes there -- but it was just as easy to drop it in the mailbox by our hotel, as there is free wi-fi at the airport anyways). I would definitely recommend Japan Wireless to anyone travelling in Japan UNLESS you will be spending a lot of time in Okinawa. In that case, you should look for someone else.

We picked up the pack at the airport and then it worked.
We had unlimited connection for two weeks without any problem.
Lightweight device, easy to transport, incredible features and, once used, the price-quality ratio has seemed exceptional.
Upon our return we deposited it in a postbox that was in front of the hotel where we stayed, in the envelope that we attached in the delivery. Comfortable, fast, without headaches the return.
Very, very recommended.

Super wifi

Great tool, a must-have when traveling in Japan. Easy to order, received directly at the Hotel, easy to send back after use.
Only negative comment: some of the websites that we needed to use (our bank for exemple) were not accessible through the pocket wifi device. We had to use Hotel wifi when available.
The battery life is very short (approx 6-7 hours max...) The battery charger is mandatory.

Absolutely recommended. We had no connection problems during the entire trip. It's worth renting it. I will rent it again in my next visit to Japan.

Pick up and drop off at Haneda was super easy and total coverage throughout our two weeks touring Japan. Will definitely rent again next time.
