Frankly, we did not know that this device existed. Our Japanese friend said that it was essential for travel in Japan, and he was correct. Amazingly, we had outstanding WiFi service, through a small device in my pocket, that worked on both of our IPads and IPhones. This allowed us to consult Trip Advisor and Google Maps throughout our 18 days in Japan. We could not have been happier. Thank You.
The last three trips to Japan we have used Japan Wireless Pocket Wifi and the service is always 5-star and the best value. Pick it up at Narita Post Office and drop it back off at the end of your trip. The extra battery is a must if you are out all day and they include it as part of the package. The coverage is great and the Pocket WiFi has more capability than a Sim Card. We connect our phones and laptops and can make calls using WiFi calling. Be sure to ask your cellular provider to turn on 'WiFi Calling' before your trip.
Service from the team, and with the product was excellent. I was hesitant to use them at first, but was blown away with them! Highly recommended!

Got the "Premium Wi-Fi" package and I was very happy with the service. Very good coverage in Tokyo. No problem in the tube or in buildings.
Good broadband to do all "activities" on phone and tablet.
Thing to improve would be to have menu in English

This is my third time using Japan Wireless. The service is always great. The pocket Wifi was delivered to my hotel room on time. The battery lasted throughout the most part of the day and the portable charger came in handy not just for the pocket wifi but to charge my cell phone as well. I highly recommend using Japan Wireless on your trip!! =)
Good service except for spare power bank provided did not hold sufficient charge to recharge pocket wifi.
Easy pick up and return. Excellent signal.
