Everything worked out fine as described. Very good coverage even in the countryside of Japan. We had 2 units for 3 people and never had a slowdown anywhere and 100%.
Return in Narita was easy.
The only thing being a small challenge was to find the pick up point in Kansai airport but friendly Airport information was there to help, so absolutely no problem.
I recommend this service.

Great experience and easy to use and set up. Was at our hotel when we arrived and deposited in post box on way out of Japan. Worked great the entire time and would highly recommend.

I've used this service several times over the past couple of years.

The signal is always strong and you can get it anywhere in Tokyo including the underground.

You may need to reset the router now and again but otherwise it works excellently.

The router has a tendency to heat up throughout the day so be mindful if you are planning to put it in your pocket.

You are also provided with a spare battery pack which has come in helpful several times.
