Worked wonderfully! Two people were connected all day and we didn’t need to use a battery until dinner time. I don’t know how we would have managed without it — having access to maps, etc.

The WiFi router works as expected! We have signal al over Japan

Using this option for having internet in Japan worked great, we picked it up at the airport and returned it in the mail when done - super easy. We didn't have any problems with connection except for at Moomin Valley Park where we had none, we didn't go to far outside of any cities though. The extra battery we got didn't work so get your own if you plan to use it full days without charging. With that said I had a good experience with this service.

Internet connection worked pretty well in every place we visited during our stay in Japan. A must!

The device comes handy whenever I travel to Japan. Be it Tokyo, Fukuoka, Hiroshima or Kansai. You can connect everywhere with unlimited data. Will subscribe/ rent again for my next trip.

Delivered at the hotel we stayed as we had arrived too late to collect a device at the airport. Small and easy to take around with you. Fits into pockets and bags, good for ladies too with handbags etc. The internet speed was really good and battery life was good too (e.g. charged 100% overnight and off charge from 8am the battery would be 47% ish around 5pm) also comes with a remote charger. Easy to post back too, was able to use the pre-paid envelope which is already filled in and posted it back from the airport post box. Recommend this for travel in Japan!
