To hire a pocket WiFi from Japan Wireless was the wisest decision I took in my trip to Japan. It's really handy since wherever you go this tiny device keeps yo connected to Internet. The supplied power bank is a plus since it prevents you of running out of batteries. The connection is always fast and reliable.

Worked flawlessly. Had it on for 14 days straight. Online 24/7 from when we landed until when we left. No drop signals or anything.

This little device saved me so much money! My phone carrier would have charged me so much for an international data plan AND I got to share the wifi with my boyfriend during our stay in Japan. The device never failed us and was incredibly convenient and easy to use! I would highly recommend this product to anyone exploring Japan.

This was my forth time using Japan-wireless as they offer a great service everytime. In the past I have always ordered portable WiFi but this time I ordered a pre-paid data sim as it was better value for my budget.

The sim card was delivered to my hotel on time and was easy to setup. The sim ensured I was always connected online, even in Murodo in the Japan Alps. Being a sim card, I didn't need to worry about an extra device to recharge as with the portable WiFi on past trips.

I didn't keep track of how much data I was using but I didn't experience any limitations of service, except for areas with no coverage.

I will consider a data sim again over portable WiFi as it served my purpose well.

Japan-wireless offers excellent service every time.

Be aware that Japan requires cameras to make a shutter sound when used. Don't be surprised if your camera starts making a shutter sound once you start using the sim card.

Good, practical device with a long lasting battery and excellent coverage almost anywhere at a reasonable price. Great for when you need wi-fi coverage on the go for maps, Google, etc.

Had it delivered right to the hotel- No problems- worked great through out our 14 day trip- would highly recommend!

Works Well

very convenient, customer service was great and quick to respond on questions. I highly recommend them when visiting Japan.

It made our Japan experience even better. I ordered a bit late for them to ship to the airport, so they sent to the airport. I am very grateful for that, instead of cancelling my order. There were some times that the device was not charging during the night for some odd reasons, but they also sent a portable charger which helps to get through the day with enough battery.

Was able to use it virtually everywhere we went (with some minor loss of service for a bout 1-2 minutes in some of the shinkansen tunnels from Tokyo > Kyoto)
The battery lasted for an entire day (with 3 people using it) and we never had any issues with it.
