We have never been to Japan before and found this on the US website. It is a God-send. When we got to the hotel, it was shipped there already. The device was not fully charged but it came with a spare battery which lasted the whole day. Everyday I charged the device and the spare battery so that a group of 4 used the wifi without any issues in 4 different cities in Japan, including the JR train and metro. This Pocket WiFi was very efficient. The connectivity was excellent.

I cannot emphasis how easy this was to purchase and use. I ordered it very last minute and it was STILL waiting for me when I got to the Narita airport post office. Took about 5 minutes to set-up and I was ready to go explore. This is the best option for internet access in Japan and would definitely recommend it.

Had the wi-fi for a 10 days trip throughout different cities in Japan. We had no issue with the order, the delivery, reception or return. Will definitely rent from them again next time we return!

This is the second time I've used Japan Wireless to rent a WiFi hot spot. It was at my hotel when I arrived and it was easy to find a post box, before security(!), at the airport to post it back. My wife and I relied on it to find our way around with Google maps and to order taxis through the JapanTaxi app. Don't leave the hotel without one!

Highly recommend this product. We arranged for the unit to be delivered to our hotel and it was waiting for us at check-in. No configuration at all necessary, was up and running in minutes. Worked great everywhere we went in Tokyo, including on the metro trains. Very reasonable price was totally worth it!

Rent the premium Wi-Fi from Japan Wireless!! We wasted money buying a T-mobile sim card before going to Japan. T-Mobile is worthless in Japan, terrible slow service, basically unusable. Japan Wireless had our unit waiting at our first hotel and worked flawlessly with 4 connected devices over our 2 week stay. It worked in the subways, on the bullet train, and every place we traveled!! Its a no brainer, rent it!
