So far, I have used their pocket wifi service twice....when I first visited Japan back in 2019 in Osaka and my last trip to Tokyo beginning of the year. Needless to say, I'll most likely use their service again the next time I visit Japan.

Japan wireless has been my go-to portable wifi service provider whenever I visit Japan. It is so much cheaper than the daily unlimited data charges if I were to activate my data roaming.

Since I normally pickup or drop-off the device at the airport, I am connected throughout my trip.

Battery life was also quite good, though the package I selected came with a separate powerbank, I didn't have to use it (we were usually out for an average of 12 hrs).

Multiple devices (5) were connected, and the wifi was steady and there was no problem at all.

Worked extremely well while traveling in Kyoto, Nagano, Narita and Nosawa Onsen. I would highly recommend for traveling in Japan.

The pocket wifi was very good and very reliable. We never lost signal and battery lasted the whole day while we were traveling around.

I normally go to Japan every year and always rent a pocket Wifi. So far, Japan Wireless has been my favorite for ease of ordering, pickup, coverage, dropoff, and value. Highly recommended if you don't want to deal with all those apps for free Wifi that doesn't work when you really need it...especially for maps!
