One of the best decisions we made for our trip to Tokyo. No matter where we were, the Pocket WiFi always helped us whether it be allowing us to use our translator apps, tourist apps, and especially maps. Would definitely purchase again in a heart beat on our next trip.

I bought an esim through Revolut. From the UK for Japan. It was much cheaper than Japan Wireless. But then I noticed the problem, the esim from Revolut just did not work. I couldn't activate it. Nothing worked. After 2 days I bought mobile Internet from Japan Wireless and wished I had been with them from the start. Everything was simple and easy to use. They delivered to my hotel the same day, but you should pick up at the airport upon your arrival. 10/10 I would use them again in Japan

Needed less than anticipated but when I needed it it was invaluable.

This was insanely useful everywhere I went. I was so upset when I had to depart with it at the airport since it was my travel buddy throughout my whole Japan trip. Would highly suggest choosing getting one of these for your trip. I was in Japan for 2 weeks and it helped me out.

Using a wirless accesspoint gave us flexability connecting several phones at the same time. Coverage was excelent and customer service with return envelope and clear instructions made it all simple and very friendly. Strongly recommend.

The Japan Wireless pocket wifi worked well for our three connected devices. One device would only connect on the LTE network, but that device didn't seem to be noticeably slower, so we were satisfied. It is a pain when people want to break off from the group as they lose their wireless connection, so I would recommend e-sims instead if you will be separating at times. That said, if you are carrier locked like we were, pocket wifi is a great choice and Japan Wireless was a seamless process from acquisition at one airport to drop off at another with a solid connection throughout our trip. They make the process easy!

In traveled for over 3 weeks to Japan with a family of 4. This service was excellent for everyone to be online - much better price than using our US carrier. They provided a battery backup unit, which was needed as the device only seemed to hold a charge for a few hours - so plugging in helped when out all day.

I’m pleased with the speed and connection of the WiFi. The return process is straightforward and I liked it too.
The only comment I want to make is that I would like to have your email which confirms that you have received the returned product from me. I suppose you did now that you sent me this request for a review, but until then, I keep checking my emails and credit card statements wondering whether the whole process has now been completed without any penalty incurred on me. Other than that, no issues. I’ll use your service again next time I travel. Thanks.

I rented the premium pocket wifi from Wireless Japan. The whole experience was very smooth, from pickup to dropoff in the post. The internet worked well and never slowed down or experienced any difficulty.
I would easily choose this again!
