Ordered it 2 days before and got it immediately by delivery to Hilton Tokyo Bay Hotel. Came with a carrying case, powerbank, and return envelope for mailing it back. Worked flawlessly all through out 3 days. Rental price is just right and fair I guess. Will definitely rent this again for next time.

As always, the service of Japan Wireless is reliable and convenient. I was easily able to reserve the service before arriving Japan. Internet service provided was fast.

I just noticed that during a concert I attended at Tokyo Dome, there was no signal, but I could see other people having signal (not sure of the providers). But after the concert, and getting out of Tokyo Dome, signal came back after a restart of the device.

Cheap and very effective! Long lasting battery, barely used the powerbank they gave me for free!

The premium Wi-Fi worked perfectly while visiting the cities in Japan. Also, worked in the mountains while skiing and also while visiting Lake Kawaguchi.

I picked up the mobile hotspot from Narita airport. It was quick and easy! I used the hotspot all over Japan, including some more rural and remote areas. It worked the whole time. I used it all day for GPS and maps especially. The battery life was impressive. I’d still recommend carrying a small backup battery just in case, but I’ve rented wifi hotspots before and this one lasted pretty much all day before needing to be charged again. Returning it was easy. Everything was in the envelope given and I just had to drop it off at the mailbox at the airport. In Haneda, it was really close to security clearance so I didn’t have to go out of my way to return the hotspot. The five stars are for the wifi hotspot. I did also rent the translator. I ended up not using it as it was not very user friendly. I did very well with Google translate on my phone, and with the wifi hotspot it was always online.

You will never lose online access with Japan Wireless! Loved the service
