I have been renting from Japan Wireless for the past 3 years and have found their services rei be extremely reilable and picking up and returning the wifi very convenient. I highly recommend renting from them.
I would use this again and I would recommend anyone to use this service! Everything was easy, from the moment we picked up the device at the airport to the drop off. My husband and I shared 1 device and didn't have any issues with connection at all the entire trip. The battery last almost all day and would recharge quickly as well.
This is my second time to use Japan Wireless WiFi. First was in Tokyo, second was in Nagoya. Fully satisfied with the service! The hotel received the package well ahead of my arrival. Connectivity was strong and stable throughout. Return via post was no hassle at all. This is my go-to WiFi service in Japan
I have been renting their modem for many years and trips to Japan. It has always been excellent in performance. Very convenient in both acquiring and dropping off devices. Totally recommend them.
It’s so easy to collect it . Won’t take more than a couple of mins and the internet is reliable and the modem battery lasts for a good 6–8 hours . There’s also a battery which comes along with the pack and easy to drop off. We had four phones connected and there was no drop in speed . Used for browsing, video calls and it worked fine .

It was our first time and Japan and our carrier only had crazy internet packages for Japan so we took a mobile hotspot and it was excellent even in small cities we did find internet signal, even in subways. Would 100% recommend and cheaper than most carriers international packages.
We rented a Wi-fi box on our recent trip to Japan and even though it was my first time to rent anything like this, the whole process was easy to figure out. Our internet worked great the entirety of our visit and it was so nice to not have to pay extra for unlimited data. Everything was easy to use and we had no trouble.
