It was clear and easy to use and return! Made my trip easy!

It was fast enough for watching streaming movies and sending/receiving short videos over text messaging. Didnt work in all rural areas, but on the train wifi was a good solution. Youll still want roaming talk because My calls wouldn't connect with just wifi, for some reason. I paid the equivalent of around $10 a day for no limit data - that includes all fees.

I visited Japan (from Australia) recently for 16 days with my wife, and needed to stay in contact with her and also access email and internet from phone and laptop. when not in a WiFi zone.
The 30-day data SIM package was affordable and provided data access and voice calls (over WhatsApp) whenever required. Using the mobile phone as WiFi hotspot was allowed, and made the laptop usable outside WiFi zones.

We loved it! It worked so well! Never had a problem with it. I would totally recommend

I rented a hot-spot from Japan Wireless in late August, and enjoyed the flexibility it offered: it allowed us to book hotels 'on the fly' and made our visit to Japan more enjoyable.

I Regularly visit Japan for business, bringing two phones and a laptop. The very small but powerful wireless device lets me keep connected at all times on all of them and everywhere with no worries about costst or connectivity. Delivery at the hotel up north in Hokkaido and easy envelope drop off in a mailbox two weeks later in Tokyo. Great price quality.

I bought the 15 days 3 GB- did not get insurance - I got email with QR- I printed it to scan at the airport
Easy to install on my Iphone -just scan QR code-follow instructions for set up- I emailed those to me to have in case. I installed at the airport before my flight and it popped up once I arrived in Japan. The signal is good everywhere from Tokyo to Osaka
Never experienced lag.
