Japan Wireless Pocket WiFi is very easy to register for. You can choose to have it delivered to your accommodation or pick it up at the airport. The staff respond promptly to any questions, and the coverage is very good. I used it while travelling with my family of four, and it worked really well for us.

It worked everywhere including the train stations. It comes with its owner portable charger, the battery life is surprisingly long and it’s so compact it fit perfect in my bag. Only downside was the charging cable. It worked for a short time and then stopped. I mostly used my own portable charger .

We really like using Japan Wireless wireless modem when we are in Japan - speeds are great and it's easy to connect multiple devices. The included battery pack is also great so you can take it with you for a full day out. However this time we found the battery life on the modem to be underperforming and it would get very hot and run out of battery after a few hours. We'll continue to use Japan Wireless but some modems may need to be upgraded.

However, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by the router overheating and the battery draining so quickly on this trip. We take equipment maintenance seriously, and your feedback regarding unit upgrades has been passed directly to our technical team so we can inspect and replace aging hardware.
Thank you again for your constructive feedback and ongoing support. We look forward to welcoming you back and providing you with a much-improved experience on your next visit to Japan!
