Was skeptical of Esim's & I used to hotspot devices. This service worked perfectly for me as I only needed a phone this trip. Connected to airport wifi & scanned the QR code provided I printed for myself on arrival & had great data service for the whole trip.

Rented two Pocket WiFi packages during our visit to Tokyo in October 2024. Pickup at Haneda was quick and easy. Both units functioned well in Tokyo and Kyoto and battery life was great. Return process at Haneda was easy. Highly recommended!

Honestly we can't fault our experience with Japan Wireless. It was very easy to order, reasonably priced, and very simple to use. The pack was at our hotel when we arrived. The pack contained everything we could possibly need and very easy to understand instructions. We set it all up within a couple of minutes and used it every day of our holiday. It never once cut out or caused issues and the battery lasted extremely well, but it was great to have a lightweight battery pack just in case - this gave us peace of mind. We would thoroughly recommend it to anyone visiting and will be using Japan Wireless again when we return to Japan in the future.
