No hassle and extremely good service
My husband and I traveled to Japan for the first time so we decided to use the Pocket WiFi. It has been tremendously useful and very easy to use. Just turn on and connect and you are ready to go! We were in Japan for 2 weeks and the Pocket WiFi has worked wonderfully. I would recommend to anyone who has multiple people in their group with multiple devices (it was only two of us but we used our phones, iPad, and Nintendo Switch on this trip). Keep in mind, you do need to carry an extra device and in some buildings, the WiFi is a little spotty. Otherwise, a great first time choice for first time travelers.

I've used this service for Internet in Japan 3x in multiple cities. It's convenient to pick up at the airport. The prices are reasonable, especially for a group. It's simple, and it works well. I very rarely had any dead zones, and those were just temporary in basements of large buildings. I'll use it again next trip!
I use the MIFI device and it works great. I have never lost a connection and the speed is very good. I generally get about 5 Mbps upload and 25 Mbps download. This will depend on your location. I am in a rural area. The battery will last about 6 hours. The price is also very reasonable, especially if you rent for longer times.
