We used our hotspot for a 2 week trip and never were without signal from Tokyo to Hiroshima. Easy to set up. Our battery life was plenty long for each day except one day when we were out in rural areas in the mountains. The only complaint was that our spare battery didn’t work to charge our phones. They quickly sent a replacement, but that kit didn’t come with the right cord to charge. No other issues. We would definitely use the service again. Drop off was easy right inside the door at Haneda.

I've rented wifi from Japan Wireless many times over the last two years and have been very satisfied with the service and promptness of responses to questions. They have different options to receive wifi units at airport or hotel and I've used both depending upon my schedule. Returning is easy, any Japan Post mailbox.

Tried Japan Wireless pocket wifi for the first time on our recent Tokyo trip. I usually use a travel sim when in Japan or whenever my family & I are traveling, but find Japan Wireless more economical and reliable than any other travel or eSim packages being offered out there. Best travel decision I've ever made!
