If you’re travelling on your own, this is an absolute must if you’re wanting to stay connected. By far the best investment I made for my trip and super easy to arrange! Picked up from Kansai airport and no issues with it whatsoever. Could not recommend more!

Everything worked as advertised. Battery lasted for a whole day. Coverage and speed where good.

(Ordered 12-20 Sep 2019)

Easy to order
Easy collection and return from/to Narita Airport Post office
Easy connection - simply turn WiFi device on and enter code like your home WiFi hub
Multiple mobile phone access
Easy to carry around in your pocket
Very good connection on the move (Tokyo & Hiroshima)
Battery last a long time / easy to charge...

I will definitely use this service again and do recommend you give it a try
Thanks Japan Wireless.

Sempre utile e perfetto per tutto il viaggio, batteria davvero durevole e powerbank incluso!

Great option for mobile wireless while travelling in Japan, and excellent communication.
Only note is that one option is to mail to a local post office. However, I found that the person at the post office did not like the fact that the post office itself was noted as the addressee. But they ended up giving me the package anyway.

For two separate trips, I have used Japan Wireless for my internet needs each time and I have found that the 187mbps portable wifi has been reliable both times, throughout my three and two week visits respectively throughout Japan. The internet speed was fantastic and I had no problems.

I went from Tokyo to Kyoto/Osaka and I NEVER had a problem with the connection. Easy to connect and I was kinda preoccupied about the battery hours but I didn't used the battery that they provided in case the wifi pocket ran out of juice, so yeah, I will definitely order this again in my next visit to Japan. Also I arrived to my hotel and the pocket wifi was already there waiting for me! So I'm super happy with japan wireless. Thank you guys!

Japan Wireless is the best alternative for any tourist visiting this beautiful country that need to stay connected at all times without restrictions.

The pick up at the airport option was very convenient, the setup is seamless and the service was uninterrupted and very reliable during my visit. I would fully recommend this option to everyone traveling to Japan and I wish more countries would adopt this technology for their visitors

- was at the hotel waiting for us when we arrived
- super fast
- long battery life
- lightweight
- so easy to return
- highly recommend!

Wifi is hard to come by when in Japan so I thought I would rent a pocket wifi device while in Japan for 2 weeks and I am so glad I did. Counter is super easy to find at the airport. No set-up. Turn it on and select the wifi name that is written on the device and you are good to go. I had my device on all day and it did not run out of battery. If you were to run out of battery, they also give you a charger pack free of charge to use during your rental. Super reliable, fast wifi. And easy return. They provide you with an envelope to put everything in when finished and you can just pop it in a letterbox at the airport before the departure gate.
