I picked up my sim card at the airport, as planned. Put it in the phone, set up the APN. And there it was, fully operationnal for my trip in Japan.

All good, nothing to complain about.

I've used Japan Wireless a few times now, and they always deliver on time. The pocket wi-fi works great, and I rarely have to use the spare battery, but it's good to have it anyway. Really easy to use, and I just pop it in the post box at the airport when I'm coming home.
On the most recent trip, I travelled all around the Chubu region, and even in remote areas, the coverage was really good.

I went all over Japan from Tokyo to Fukuoka, up to Sapporo and then to Fujisan. The network is up and running with reliable speed on most of the places.
