This device saved our skin more than once on our recent trip! The only thing I have to complain about is the fact that the Haneda Airport pick-up location was not the post office as stated on the website and in the confirmation email, but at a kiosk in the international terminal. Had a bit of a headache there, but we were so pleased with the product. We did not have an extra battery (we were compensated fairly for the lack), but as long as we charged up before we left the hotel and were conscientious about using it we were never without internet. Found the device to get warm, but not unreasonably so. We used Google Maps to get around and plan our routes on the go with this, so when something unexpected happened (like missing the last bus one night) we were able to adapt on the fly. The confirmation of its safe return was also a relief and one less thing to think about after the trip. Would use again, and probably will!

Process of picking up and dropping off is super simple, efficient and streamlined, like most other things in Japan. Must have.

Incredible service on delivery and performance .

wifi was delivered to the hotel which was very convenient. extra battery was a plus so you can charge the wifi if it gets low battery. dropping it at the post box in the airport was also very easy. places visited were osaka, kyoto, hiroshima, miyajima, tokyo, nikko. all had good wifi signals.

Very easy to pick up and drop off, great service throughout Japan for two of us. We had to charge it on average once during the day (came with a portable charger) and the speed was always very good.
