I had the access point delivered to the airport.
Upon delivery you just show your passport and they give you an envelope with the device inside, a powerbank with cable, and the envelope to return the product.
To use it all you have to do is turn it on, connect via WiFi your smartphone to the access point, and enter as password the one shown on the screen.
Very good battery life, you can rely on at least 9/10h of use, and if it really becomes necessary you can use the powerbank that comes with it.
Very easy return, just reinsert everything inside the envelope they give you and stick the package in a mailbox, you can even find some at the airport.
Overall great product, when I go back to Japan I will use the same service.

Japan Wireless was a seamless way for us to get WiFi for our use throughout Yokohama and Chiba. It worked way better than my eSIM!

Very easy to install and configure it. Back service very helpful. Good choice for Japan travelers

We have connection anywhere in Japan 👍🏻

Never any problem. Always working perfectly well, even on the summit of Mount Bandai.

I have no issues with it the entire time. The battery last all day that I have never used the portable battery.

It was my first time coming into Japan and was recommended this wifi company. Overall, the pocket wifi was very easy to use and the internet quality was great as well.

Perfect service. Couldn't ask for anything more!

Rented the Pocket WiFi (Unlimited Data) for about two weeks and a few days. WiFi signal and network/mobile reception was solid except in places where you'd expect to run into problems (basement floors of stores where signal is limited anyway). A USB charging cable, AC Adapter, and thin battery/power bank was also included, which was useful if the Pocket WiFi was low on power. Highly recommended if you want to have multiple devices online (not just your phone, but portable video game console, laptop, etc). Return process was straightforward (they include a postage-paid envelope to return the equipment), and I dropped mine off at the postal box at Haneda Airport, before checking in for my flight.

Ordered online, picked up wifi package from the counter at the airport was easy along with returning it by placing everything back in a returning envelope at the airport post box before going through to the terminals. 10/10 would order again!
