You need reliable internet service for a good price in Japan. This is the way to go. 5 stars!

Had pocket WIFI-router sent to hotel and easily picked up on arrival. Setup was easy and efficient. Battery lasted a whole day, charger and back-up battery was included and invaluable for all wireless devices. unlimited data was a great feature. Return postage and envelope at airport (international departure) was provided. Do check before you get to airport.
4/5 as we did experience issues with device once it got too hot and also some pairing issues.

I ordered the Premium Pocket Wifi online, on the same week as my trip. The process was simple and straightforward, and finding the counter at Haneda was also hassle free. The staff will guide you through the set up.

We stayed in Japan for three weeks, and the Pocket Wifi was good enough for two people to use daily! The decide is easy and lightweight. The signal is also pretty good. There were one or two days where it lagged a little as the internet connection lagged and couldn’t connect, but that’s expected considering the high traffic of users in Tokyo. They also gave a complimentary Powerbank with it! Very convenient.

The only small issue is that you should make sure you charge it properly every night. Unfortunately, the charging cable we were given was a little frayed and accidentally didn’t charge the device. It ended up dying on us one of the days and sent us into a panic, as we’re left stranded without signal. So — just make sure you charge it without fail!!

Go-to WIFI in Japan! Just perfect!

The wifi router was easy to order. Hopefully pickup at the airport will be just as smooth.

Seamless process, considering I never interacted with a point person from Japan Wireless. Great system. Connectivity is reliable. Returning the device was also easy, I really appreciated that hotel staff could do it for me for my convenience.
