100% efficient: fast and easy

We had difficulty finding affordable internet in Tokyo, so we opted for a portable router from Japan Wireless. It arrived the next morning at our hotel, it took less than a minute to set up, and came with everything I needed to return it via post. The internet speed was much faster than our SIM cards (>50Mbps) and it cost roughly half of what a single 14-day SIM card cost at Narita airport. It was the perfect solution for my Wife and I.

We took the pocket wi-fi throughout Tokyo, Disneyland, Disney Sea, on the Shinkansen, to Osaka, Universal Studios, Nara, and Kyoto. It always worked, everywhere we went. We had multiple phones connected to it. I will definitely get another pocket wi-fi on my next trip to Japan!

Upon opening the envelope, we discovered that everything we needed was included: the router, charger, detailed instructions on how to use the device, and a convenient envelope for returning the router at the end of our trip.

While the overall experience was commendable, the only aspect that prevents me from awarding the service a perfect 4-star rating is the speed. Although it provided sufficient connectivity for all our needs, it fell short of the high-speed performance advertised on their website.

Overall, Japan Wireless delivered a reliable and convenient service, ensuring that we had the necessary tools to stay connected during our trip. With improved speed, their service would undoubtedly be worthy of the highest rating.
