Reliable and fast data connection!

I highly recommend this portable WiFi hotspot especially if traveling with your family since it is less expensive than individual eSIM for each person

I ordered pocket wifi online from Japan Wireless to be delivered to my hotel in Kyoto. It was at the front desk when I arrived along with easy to understand directions of how to use it. My sister and I were both connected to it throughout our two week trip in Japan. At the end of the trip, I just put it in the included envelope and dropped it in the mail. The entire process couldn’t be easier.

I recently switched to an eSIM japan wireless provider, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. Activating the eSIM was incredibly easy—no need to wait for a physical SIM card or visit a store. The QR code was emailed right after purchase, and within minutes, I was up and running.

The connection has been fast and reliable and it saved me from outrageous roaming fees.

Overall a good experience. It's super convenient that they were able to send the pocket wifi to my hotel so that I wouldn't have to waste time picking it up at the airport. I also liked that they provided a free power bank which is needed as even with only me using it, the battery only lasts maybe 6-8 hours, not up to 18 hours as advertised. If you have multiple users or are streaming videos, it'll probably only last a few hours. Returning the device was very simple. Right before you go through security at the airport, there are mailboxes available for you to drop it off in the pre-labeled envelope they provided you.

The service was impeccable. I received the pocket WiFi directly at my hotel on the day of my arrival in Tokyo and returned it at the airport using a pre-paid envelope. Fair price for excellent service. No connection issues and unlimited internet. 100% recommended.
