I’m based in Japan but have frequent visits from my overseas manager, going to various locations in Tokyo and Osaka. Therefore having a shared wifi system we can both rely upon at each location is great. Unfortunately the service in the Shinkansen is unavoidably affected by tunnels and remoteness of some locations, but even the unsecured wifi of the Shinkansen itself suffers outages along the route. I appreciate Japan Wireless simple reservation, pickup, return and invoicing process, as well as the help desk fully anticipating dealing with people in “real” (conversational) English, which is super rare in Japan.

Thank you for excellent service, everywhere we went. The extra charging usb plug was really handy too!

Super convenient and worth the price

Excellent service! Unit was already at the hotel when we arrived. Signal was great. Only inconvenience was charging was quite slow. Will surely use your service again.

We used the Japan Wireless service for 10 days while in Tokyo’ and it was the best decision. Not many places have wifi and our Australian mobile service only allows a small download amount, so we used this EVERYTIME we left the hotel!

The wireless service was excellent! It was really awesome that we had a strong wifi signal throughout our trip in Japan. One thing that was quite a challenge was locating the post office at Narita Terminal 2 upon landing as there were also providers of wifi at the airport. Had to ask airport staff and other wifi providers where the post office was to claim my wifi package. Arigato Gozaimasu!
