We visit Japan multiple times a year and always use Japan Wireless for our pocket wifi. We use pocket wifi for streaming video on our tv in Japan so the data speed needs to be fast and unlimited. Japan Wireless is the only pocket wifi service that we've found in Japan with truly unlimited data as other services throttle down their wifi speeds to an unacceptable speed once certain data limits are exceeded. Also, great service with easy return.

we travelled through Tokyo - Kanazawa - Kyoto and Osaka regions and did day trips to nearby rural areas. The coverage was reliable and fast. We found though that the battery lasted 5-7 hours only, so you will need carry a charger.
Excellent customer service: the pocket wifi was delivered to our hotel before our arrival and we just dropped it off in a mailbox in the provided envelope at the end of the trip. Very easy, very little time or effort required on our part.
I would rent the same again.

Second time using the portable wi-fi. This time I had it for 30 days. Very reliable and dependable. Battery lasts a long time and you still have a portable battery. Easy to use. Highly recommend.

Pretty reliable, I would do it again

Easy pick up from airport when we arrived and ready to use (easy use/set up)...10 days all over Tokyo and never had an issue or any connection issues and ònce again easy drop off at airport on the way home...highly recommend

Reliable internet. Helpful tech support. Easy to acquire when arriving in Japan; and easy to drop off when departing.

Great WiFi and service. Easy to return and quick confirmation of receipt. Reliable connection which made our trip in Japan easier to navigate.

Thank you for the service rendered. The Wi-Fi provided by the unit was generally okay, although it tended to lose power sometime in the afternoon. I learned later to switch it off when we were in the hotel, in order to save power, but the powerbank provided was effective in keeping the unit going.

Great service and value! Highly recommend if you’re traveling to Japan.
