On a recent visit to Tokyo, I decided to experiment with mobile WiFi in lieu of the $10/day access through my wireless provider. I’m so glad I did! The coverage was exceptional, and allowed my traveling companion and I to save money on our wireless bills. We used the mobile hotspot to stay connected while outside of the hotel, and on occasion while at the hotel (although we had WiFi included at the hotel). Google maps was our friend while navigating through Tokyo, and the mobile hotspot provided ample speeds and reception. I’ll definitely use the service if I’m ever in Japan again.

We ordered our pocket wifi pretty last minute, and when we arrived at our hotel, it was there, waiting for us. It worked flawlessly throughout our 3 week stay in various regions of Honsu, Japan, and the battery lasted all day, for the most part. But we had the power charger for those times when we needed it.
All in all, we were very satisfied and would not hesitate to rent one again from the same company.

I absolutely love their service. It's convenient and very easy to use and more importantly, has a wider coverage than the other service I've used in the past. I've used their service 3-4 times now whenever I stay in Japan. I love the fact that they make it easier for us to return the device by including an envelope complete with the particulars and all we have to do is just drop it into any mailbox anywhere. Highly recommended.

My partner and I bought Japan Wireless on our most recent trip to Japan. It was a very simple process to order and pick up and the system worked very well for our two weeks. The internet was fast and reliable. We had one issue the whole time with internet but it was a very easy fix with a Google search. The battery lasted all day and you receive an additional power pack to ensure it lasts as long as you need. Internet was fast enough to stream videos. Would highly recommend!

Es la tercera vez que rento con Japan Wireless. Estuve en Japón durante 8 días y me sirvio mucho porque a cualquier lado que iba la señal se mantenia, la velocidad es estable y jamás bajo, lo que me gusto mucho es que la bateria le dura mucho no la tenia que cargar si no hasta que llegaba a mi hotel y eso que salia desde las 10am y regresaba a las media noche. Lo recomiendo ampliamente.

The wifi was easily picked up and dropped off at the airport. The router worked perfectly all throughout our trip.
