It works amazingly, it's easy to use, and its battery performs all day. Very practical and very helpful to stay connected during stay in Japan.

The portable wifi was very beneficial. Even in the basement of train stations, the signals were very strong. My T-Mobile 5G signal went dead at many places. This portable wifi signals never went down. Great product. I would recommend this product to any person travel to Japan.

The whole process was as easy as can be, from booking, to pickup, to the final drop off at the mailbox. If an esim is not possible for you then this is the next best thing. Battery life is great too, never used the provided battery bank.

I used Japan Wireless pocket Wi-Fi for a full month travelling across Japan — from Tokyo to Sendai and down to Hakata — and it was excellent throughout. The connection was reliable everywhere I went and never once let me down. I mainly used it for Google Maps and Google Translate, and it worked flawlessly.

Like most pocket Wi-Fi devices, the battery won’t last all day with heavy use, so a power bank is essential, but that’s no different from using your phone. Ordering was easy, delivery and return were seamless, and the whole service was efficient from start to finish. I would happily use Japan Wireless again and highly recommend it to anyone travelling in Japan.
