Returning to Japan for my first visit post-COVID, this was the first time I had elected to travel with a "Pocket Wi-Fi". On previous visits I had relied solely on "roaming" from my phone provider, only to be hit with big bills on my return. Highly delighted with the whole process; booked on-line in advance and collected from a counter at Fukuoka Airport, the device was easy to set-up on my phone and laptop and gave me 5-days of uninterrupted wi-fi internet coverage whilst travelling around largely rural Kyushu, often on local trains. Even the return of the device was pain-free;- simply seal into the envelope provided and drop into a post box at Fukuoka Airport.

Ordered it at the last minute while waiting for our flight to Japan. While that wasn't enough time to get a kit shipped to the airport for us, there was great communication and we could arrange it to be delivered to our hotel the next day. The unit was so convenient, we didn't need sim cards. Also the unit had great reception, good speed and the battery lasted the whole day so we didn't need to use the spare battery. Highly recommended
