Our premium wifi rental experience was terrific. Easy to pick up, use and return!

Reliable! Used it in tokyo, kyoto and osaka.
used it mostly for navigation (80% google maps; 20% search engines, social media, messaging apps etc)
Good speed for the most part. Slows down around night time, but manageable.

included power bank is a plus!

Easy return procedure using mailbox at the airport.

Overall, very good wifi to use in japan!

Rented for 2.5 weeks as we travelled from Tokyo to Hiroshima to Kyosan and it worked perfectly.

Easy pick up and drop off at the airport. Worked great everywhere we went in Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka. Good battery life, lasted all day. Didn’t need to use the extra power bank they included. Would definitely recommend.

Pretty compact if you take it out of the packet. It comes with everything you need and had internet wherever I went. It was honestly a lifesaver.

I went with this wifi because of the good reviews and it didn't disappoint. Very wide and secure coverage even in remote countryside places, and good battery life. I was able to book accommodation, reserve train seats, look up things to do etc. on the fly as I was travelling to many places. Easy to return, just drop it in any parcel post box. If there is one thing, maybe they should hook up with convenience stores at the airport instead of the post office for pick-up of the device. I was arriving after the post office had closed so I had it sent to an address. It would have been good to have my hands on it on arrival at the airport as I had to navigate my way to where I was staying which involved quite a few train transfers. That was very challenging without internet access and i also had to contact the people I was staying with. But overall, very highly recommended.
