Solid device, no issues at all. Easy to pickup and drop off.

Way cheaper than roaming, works pretty much everywhere!

I have not used the pocket Wi-Fi yet, but it is easy to navigate and order the device

It is so convenient to have Japan wireless. While others would not have signal, our internet access wa s never an issue whenever we are. Will definitely rent again.

Rental process was easy, just sign up for what you want, and where you want to pick it up. You arrive at the designated pick up location and they should have a package waiting for you with everything you need it in. When you are done, simply throw everything back into the protective case, place it in the pre-paid envelope and mail it back, you can even do that from the airport! Only a couple of things with the equipment and overall experience. For starters, the hotspot won't last all day, but it will last most of the day with moderate usage. There were days when I was at a theme park and had to use apps on my phone that drain the hotspot by late afternoon. They do provide a battery you can use to plug the hotspot into, but it's best to bring your own that has a higher charge capacity. The other thing is the actual reception quality. This is why I only gave Japan Wireless 4 stars, is because the reception can be spotty in some areas. The connection would be working then it suddenly drops. Also, the connection really isn't the best if you are trying to do a video call either. It can lose signal here and there. Otherwise, I do highly recommend for the price and it was easy.

Easy to avail of the service. Package was delivered to our hotel as scheduled. Internet connection was very repiable and fast. Return options make it very convenient when you are finished.

Japan Wireless was fantastic, absolutely hassle free wifi on the go, and it meant we could freely use Google maps and Google translate at any time, anywhere. It was all booked online once we had worked out how long we needed it for, and was sent to our hotel as arranged (Hotel Tobu at Tokyo airport). The envelope was waiting for us at the reception desk on arrival. The small iPad sized zipped pouch contained everything we needed - the wifi device itself (smaller than a mobile phone), a charged-up power bank, leads and instructions. It was super easy to connect our phones and the whole package very light to carry around with us. There were two of us who didn't expect to do separate things so just one device worked perfectly for us. Usually the battery lasted all day and I charged the device in the evening at our hotel. Just once we were suddenly without wifi and I realised the battery was flat so simply used the power bank to charge it up, problem sorted!

We had no internet issues with this wifi device and it was unlimited data which helped with us constantly needing to look up directions throughout Japan, multiple cities.

Japan Wireless is amazing! Affordable with unlimited data. I had no issues with wifi during my trip. I would highly recommend using Japan Wireless.
