If you are in cities, it is useful. If you travel in the mountain, you cannot use it. It may happen in every service providers; I don’t know. Anyway, it’d better having it for your trip. The return is quite easy, I can drop the return envelop at the post box at the airport.

Didn’t once have to use the extra batteries. Lasted very long with one charge and never had issues with WiFi. Great stuff!

It is very good and helpful when you travel to Japan

Was able to use it while out and about daily for 16 days, only had to use the portable charger about half the time. Had some connectivity issues occasionally but once I reconnected to the wifi it was good to go

Being able to have WiFi wherever I go so I can use Maps and look up places to go as well, was extremely convenient.

Unfortunately, our service went out unexpectedly due to “Server issues” and our WiFi would not work for a couple days.
Luckily, we contacted customer service and they sent a new device to our hotel by the next morning.

Other than that hiccup, everything was great! Easy to use, and I can’t tell you enough of how clutch having this was.

This is the best WiFi gadget I have ever rented. You can access WiFi anywhere you go in Japan where WiFi is not available. You can even use it as your gps, it is also helpful when you are searching for places and eateries in the area . I truly recommend this WiFi when traveling to Japan.
