Since I came across this offering by Japan-Wireless five years ago, ordering the product has been one of the first task when planning to go back to Japan (about once a year) - Digital life is now so much easier!
I haven't highlighted 5 stars this time, because of occasional loss of connection between my device and the Premium Wi-Fi, when such a connection was expected, which led to some (temporary) confusion.
Otherwise, I would have happily set the five stars!

Perfect for 2 people if you're looking for Google maps, social media and video streaming on 1 device.

Good battery life (enough for the whole "tourist day" day), excellent signal reception, battery external pack not special but anyway appreciated for longer days

It was a nice, easy and smooth transaction. We changed the pick up to hotel delivery and they were able to accommodate. We will definitely rent again when we visit Japan.

We recently rent this pocket Wi-Fi for our t family rip in Japan. We moved around all day and every day as group. So it was helpful for us all shared the wifi to check the map, information and communicated with each other. Picking up and dropping off at post office inside the airport was easy also.

Used this portable Wifi for 2 weeks for my trip to Tokyo and Kyoto. Worked really well, had good reception in my handbag being carried throughout our trip. The device can get pretty hot when in your bag, but just popping the battery for 5 mins to cool down works well. Easy to pick up from post office at Narita airport and it was super easy to return. I definitely would recommend this renting this for your trip!
