Essential to maximace Japanese visit

Over the course of two weeks the pocket wifi made my stay in Japan very flexible, allowing me to communicate with friends and family easily. The hot spot relies on LTE connection though, so if you're up high in the mountains, it will more than likely not work (I was in the mountains of Nagasaki and quickly learned this). Overall a great product and very much worth the $94 for 16 days

We purchased the packet WIFI a few days before the trip and had it sent to my hotel. When we arrived, it was already waiting for us at the reception desk. We visited big cities and remote places, we always had signals. It worked very nicely for the family. We did have to put on a charger frequently, we also purchased the insurance to cover any incident. The return was also very easy - put it in the included return envelop and dropped into a post office mailbox at the airport. A confirmation email was sent to us once it was received. We really enjoyed the service, thank you!

I used this mobile hot spot for one week while visiting Tokyo. Was terrific to be able to use Maps to guide me through trains, subways and walking. I was very happy.

It was crucial for me to have connection during my stay in Japan since I decided I wouldn't be getting a mobile phone. I contracted with Japan Wireless and found smooth sailing in staying connected to wi-fi on my mobile phone. It really comes in handy when you are constantly needing to do a Google Map directions search whilst traveling.

The Wi-Fi service was great with good coverage across Japan.
