Great product, the kiosk was in a smaller corridor in the airport but no issues finding it. The WiFi was fast enough for maps and translation while I was on my journeys through Japan. Never had an issue. The battery pack is necessary because I ended up using my phone way more than I expected

We have been to Japan often and this is the Wi-Fi we trust. The unit lasts a long time and the extra battery extends your connection even longer.
Nothing to worry about. Pick up and return is super easy. Keeps your trip connected all the time.

I was very satisfied with having reliable internet in Tokyo, Osaka, and Kyoto! I will say it’s on the pricier side compared to other sites that claimed to have unlimited internet. As a first timer in Japan I wanted to be sure I had reliable internet at all times to utilize Google Maps ,social media and messaging apps and it worked flawlessly! I don’t mind paying a premium to be guaranteed internet’ at all times. Even when I stayed at hotel’s some of the WiFi was very choppy and I would have to go back to using my internet which would upload so much faster! Overall I would highly recommend using Japan wireless for your trip, if you’re prioritizing reliability. If you’re on a budget maybe look elsewhere? But personally now that I have used them, I will always use Japan wireless for connectivity. This is also based on using it on an iPhone 17 pro max.

Long lasting battery, available when we visited Nagano, Takayama and some parts of Central Japan.

Easy to carry on snowboard excursions, we ended up using it at our lodge after the wifi there was out for a few days

So easy to pick up and drop off at the airport. It's my 3rd time using these and it's cheaper than using my own international plan. 10/10 would recommend to a friend.

Overall speed was very good, even better than some wifi, and used it in hokkaido, osaka and tokyo.
Occasional loss of connection when underground and has some deadzones but reconnects fast.
Only had an issue where signal was completely cut for 1 day.
Customer Support is fast enough (est 1hr for reply), but not super helpful 8/10. They did try to diagnose issue, but no direct answer. decent tho.

3rd time using Japan wireless for our Japan trips. Highly recommended and reliable coverage anywhere.
