We got the pocket WiFi to travel in Japan and it was a perfect choice. It worked perfectly for our party of 5 people. The only "unconfortable" issue is when we went separated... but that happened just a few times.

Great service and great product...the slight upcharge for a translator was well worth it!!!

Everything worked as it should.

We spent a couple of weeks in Japan, arriving in Tokyo first. Picking up the wifi router was quick and easy. We had wifi in a matter of minutes. Travelled to Toyama, Kanazawa, Kyoto including up into the mountains around Kyoto, Nara and then back to Tokyo. Coverage was great including the Shinkansen. Battery life was good and only needed the power pack a couple of times during the whole trip.

I can’t say enough good things about the pocket WiFi unit we had. Along with our JR Rail pass, the WiFi unit was an indispensable tool to help navigate our trip. Speeds were great, signals were strong, battery power was never an issue…all in all, the WiFi unit made our trip much easier.
