This is my second time in Japan and I have used Japan Wireless both times. The first time was smooth pickup at the airport, great access, and easy return. This time I had a late flight into a smaller airport. There was no airport pick up available. Japan Wireless sent my WiFi to the post office just a block from my AirBnB. It was easy to pick up, communication with the staff was fantastic. The WiFi service worked and was great, on both mainland and Okinawa. While there was a spare battery pack, I ended up not needing it despite all day WiFi. Excellent!!!

This was so easy. Picked up at airport, dropped off at airport and had internet all the time in Japan. Never had issues. I would definitely use them again.

I tried to use the e-sim too but I didn't realize that my phone didn't have that capability. Japan wireless refunded me without issue.

Worth every penny. We even had service on the metro and in the stations when our friends (using roaming data from their US carrier) didn’t have service. The battery lasted almost the entire day almost every day, and the included battery pack came in handy on the days when the charge ran out. It was smaller than I had anticipated and easy to just toss in a bag/purse and kept with us. We had two phones connected at all times and had no issues with speed either. Would ABSOLUTELY use again and highly recommend.

I had scheduled my pick up at the airport but unfortunately my flight was delayed and the kiosk to pick up the WiFi was closed (6PM, I think). I contacted the company via email and they were able to send another unit to my hotel the next day. I will most definitely
rent the WiFi again!

Everything worked perfectly except the charging and connection cord. Could not charge the WiFi or the battery pact. Good thing I had spare Circe’s to charge both the battery and WiFi simultaneously. Wi-Fi worked flawlessly and connecting the battery pact ensured an entire day of usage.

It was easy to pick-up, easy to drop off. Wifi was uninterrupted. 👌🏼

I ordered the mobile wifi online a few days before arriving in Tokyo. The mobile wifi, extra battery and charger were waiting for me when I checked in. Instructions were simple, the wifi worked great, and the battery was good for the day with nightly recharge. When we departed, we had everything packed into the preaddressed envelope that was provided in the initial packet and that was it. They confirmed receipt by email and it was very efficient.

A must have while traveling Japan! My husband and I each got separate wifi boxes and they lasted all day without a charge, nearly always had connection and helped us efficiently use our phones maps/texting/searching the web seamlessly.
