I ordered the pocket wifi for my trip from the US to Japan and it was at my hotel when I arrived. It came with a spare power pack at no extra charge. The other places charge extra for the power pack.
The charger and cables were included.
The wifi worked great wherever we went. Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, Nara, Yokohama and Yamanashi.
As far as cost it was half the cost of using my AT&T overseas data plan.
Returning the unit at the end of my trip was easy since they provided a self mailer for Japan Post. Highly recommend Japan Wireless.

I've used JW pocket wifi for the first time in Tokyo in 2019, and the service was so high quality that I booked it again for my trip to Osaka in 2022. The pickup in Narita and Kansai airports was smooth both times, and the user guide is foreign friendly and very easy to understand. The wifi comes with a power bank that I personally didn't need despite keeping the wifi switched on for 12+ hours (that's how good it is). I never had any issues with it during my travel and when I had a question regarding the service, the JW team nicely and quickly replied to my mail. I am surely going to use JW again in my future travels to Japan!

My unit didn’t work at first. A replacement unit was swiftly arranged and arrived on second night. Service charge was refunded for two days. A strong testament to its service. It would have been great if the first unit was thoroughly checked before dispatch. But no one is perfect. Happy with the unit throughout my stay in Japan.
