Using the Japan Wireless wifi Hotspot was easy and detrimental to our 3 week stay in Japan. The rental service was very easy and the Customer service was exceptional. Coverage was great as we traveled from Sasebo to Tokyo with destinations in between. The return process was easy, I was able to drop in the JP Post box at the final departure airport using the prepaid envelope that came with the device. I would highly recommend this service to anyone traveling to Japan and avoid swapping your SIM card. We had 4 people in our family we all used the Hotspot for our phones. Saved us so much hassle and money.

I have used the Premium Wi-Fi service from Japan-Wireless twice (soon to be a third time) and have been very pleased with how easy the process is, from picking up at the airport to returning via the prepaid envelope. They provide all the items you need to get online and include a battery pack so you can keep going all day. I have used this extensively whilst travelling around Japan and the coverage and speed are great (often better than the Wi-Fi service at hotels).

Rental was awesome! It came on time upon arrival at the hotel and I simply dropped it off at the airport after rental. Staff was easy to reach. No connection issues at all. Highly recommended!

I needed a portable wifi and read up reviews about one of the best Portable Wifi and was directed to Japan Wireless. I used it for my whole 2 week stay in Tokyo and it provided me an Excellent Wi-Fi connection anywhere and everywhere I went. The battery also lasted me the whole day. Very pleased and will definitely use it again. I recommend this for anyone that is looking for a portable wifi option in Japan

Very useful when travelling across Japan

A small unit that works very well- even in tiny rural towns. Charging very quickly and also arrives with battery pack but a charge lasts all day. Worked well even with two phones and two laptops. But we do recommend renting a SIM card for making local phone calls if your US provider charges high fees.
