Got the pocket Wifi for 15 days. Great price, unlimited download. Never had a problem connecting whether cities or in the middle of the Japan Alps. We only needed to use the spare battery once in 15 days, despite extensive usage. The device was waiting for us at our hotel and we posted it in the supplied envelop once we reached Haneda airport, before immigration. I will definitely do business with Japan Wireless when I next return to Japan and I highly recommend them.

all perfect, great internet line fast

Rented a wifi hotspot for our vacation in Japan. First part of the trip was a Sakura cruise around Japan. I was almost able to use the hotspot every day, even though we were miles off shore. Came in handy as I was all ready to navigate with my hotspot at any of the ports, except Busan Korea.

Second part of the trip was spending time in Hiroshima, Kyoto and Osaka. No problems at all but I did need to use the backup battery for both the hotspot and my cell phone.

Would definitely rent again. One minor issue is that we arrived in Haneda early morning but had to wait until the booth opened at 8am. Other wireless carriers are open 24 for pickup.

It was a positive experience. Everything was easy thanks to an efficient service delivery, full equipment (router, data bank, cables), coverage 99% (even on the bullet trains).

We’ve (my family) been traveling the world for a year and we’ve had really terrible internet in more 3rd world countries and really horrendous internet in 1st world countries. The internet via Japan Wireless was by far the best internet we have had our entire trip. We had unlimited GBs and our speed clocked at 40-100 Mbps download depending on proximity to the mifi. Yes, mifi...so we took it with us as we traveled hours outside our home base in Osaka. We stayed in Japan for a little over a month and we had flawless internet the entire time. I recommend them over anyone else if you find yourself in Japan for a short trip or a long one. Thanks again!

Everything went wonderful from start to finish! The price was much better than a U.S. international plan. The unit was waiting for me at the airport when I arrived. It was super easy to set up. The charge lasted all day, I didn’t even need to use the extra battery. And drop off was a breeze as well. Super happy I picked japan wireless!
