I always use Japan Wireless because they are the most affordable and most reliable. They make receiving the pocket WiFi and returning the WiFi super easy and hassle free!

I chose Japan Wireless because they seemed to be the only company who could have a token at my hotel within 48 hours. Sure enough we checked in at 6am and it was waiting for me.

It was very easy to use in Tokyo - really excellent coverage. In Niseko, service was slightly patchy but I imagine that was the nature of network coverage in the mountains. It was fine in the town.

Overall I’d highly recommend.

Battery life on the wifi lasted longer than the other wifi rentals we've used in the past. We didn't have any issues using the wifi and traveled from Chiba to Saitama, to Tokyo, to Hakone on this last trip. Will definitely order from them again. Also, pick up was easier - their kiosk had a shorter line. Drop off/return is the same as most - just drop off in the post box at the airport at the end of your trip.

Rented pocket wifi, and it came with a charging cord and battery pack. The wifi worked great and lasted all day. However, they sent the wrong charging cord (which was not a problem since i had a personal one that worked) and the battery would charge a device for 10-15 seconds then stop charging, so I was basically carrying it around for nothing. The main thing though was that I had great wifi all day and into the night with a single charge, so it all worked out.

We always rented Japan wireless wifi connection on every trip we had to Japan, as the wifi service connection is really fast and it's easy to use. Last Jan 15 to 19 2020 we again went to Osaka Japan and rented this wifi service again.

easy to book and good coverage

I got my Pocket wifi delivered directly to my hotel, dropped it off at a Narita Airport post office box. The signal in the Tokyo area was very fast and never dropped the signal. The convenience is hard to beat for the price, would highly recommend!

Easy pickup, easy to use, easy return. Fast internet connection, even while on metro & train. No problems at all!
