Product：Premium WifiWe took the advice of Kensho Quest on YouTube and it worked out great. We turned of data and roaming on our U.S. phones, and with the Japan Wireless router, we communicated easily with email and WhatsApp. On the odd occasion when we really needed our phone line, we turned it on briefly, did what we needed, and turned it off again.
Otherwise, we used Japan Wireless exclusively. It was simple to use...just charged it overnight and put in my daily carry bag when we went out. At the end of our trip, we just put it in the provided mailer, and dropped it in a mailbox at Narita. It could not have been easier or more convenient.
I highly recommend this service for people who have locked phones who can’t use esims or have numerous people in their group that want to share wifi. It gave us a perfect solution for us. Pick up and drop off were very convenient. The pocket WiFi worked very well. And it was very inexpensive.
