The set up was easy and it worked without fail during time in Honshu.

My experience with this device was almost flawless, I had signal and internet every day, all day, and I consider myself a power user. I also went to some pretty far off places like the Shinanami Kaido. I feared I'd lose signal while in the countryside but it worked without issues.

It just one time turned off on me for some reason and took like 5 minutes to turn on and get reception again, but after that it was all smooth sailing. Next time I come to Japan im pretty sure I'm ordering this again.

So easy and convenient to use. Bought it online which was very straight forward. Unlimited data for the duration of my stay which was worth it as I used a lot of data while travelling using google maps. Convenient as I didn't have to line up at a store. It was a simple process and guaranteed peace of mind. Will use it again on my next trip to Japan.

I purchased a 14 day 5g sim which took me from Tokyo to Mt Fuji and Kyoto. I had excellent coverage throughout which was crucial for using Google maps to navigate my way around Japan and much cheaper than my UK operator roaming charge.
