It's excellent. I just have to ask a different wifi office to help me connect it to my iphone the first time because there's no Japan Wireless office within the vicinity of Haneda airport. I'm glad there were some helpful people there even if they belong to a different company.

We rented before in 2017, and we liked it a lot, so we rented again in May 2025. We also plan to rent it again this October. We will be in Japan from October 1st October 7. Highly recommended in place of SIM card. We can connect multiple devices to the Wifi pocket.

Purchased a data only SIM card. The card was delivered on time in the hotel in Japan and awaited me on arrival. Full coverage all places I went, flawless service. Good price, excellent value for the money, and worked wonders with navigation in major cities and sites I visited. Highly recommended, will buy again next trip to Japan.

We chose Japan wireless because of the price - we received unlimited data for 4 for under $5 use a day. Only once did we have a coverage issue (we had to extend service several times when our flight was delayed and on the 3rd or 4th extension, something wasn't inputted to keep the service on), and an email promptly resolved it. I would absolutely use this service again.

The wifi unit worked very well and we always had connectivity no matter where we were. However, the extra battery pack did not function as expected, and did not even have enough power to charge the wifi unit more than 50%. The only other issue we had was the pickup location at the airport was very difficult to find as the directions were not clear.

Great Unlimited connection everywhere and long batterylife (we used it with 2 active devices all day long)! Only sometimes in the afternoon, when battery went down 20%, my brother's iPhone were disconnected and had some problem to connect again..

Faultless service from Japan Wireless. The device was delivered to our hotel and worked really well at all locations we travelled to in Japan. Battery life was good, easily lasting all day. The return instructions for the airport made it so convenient and simple.

Whole experience was seamless! Pickup at airport, great reception EVERYWHERE!!!! The wireless router was nice and small, easy to fit into pockets. A battery backup was included in the package, a very slim device which meant very portable. Never had to use backup device even though we were out and about for 12-14 hrs most days! Great value for money, highly recommend Japan Wireless!

Took a while to find the pickup at the Haneda airport (on the third floor May 2025), but once I had it it worked pretty much flawlessly.
