The most reliable wifi I have ever used, will definitely use next time

Very easy and affordable

I have been to Japan many times for my family trip and every time I chose Japan wireless pocket wifi. Price is reasonable and all taking and returning procedure was convenient. The latest premium wifi was superb. The signal coverage more than 99%. Only in middle of the forest area we couldn't find signal. By the way it was still perfect for general traveling while battery life last for 10 hours without power bank. The new premium wifi didn't limit data usage of even slow down its speed. We had connected 4 devices for 12 days and data usage over 60 gb without problem at all. This operator is reliable and I trust.

We ordered the wifi device with unlimited use, for our 14 day whirlwind tour in Japan that took us through Tokyo, Toyama, Takayama (small remote city), Nagoya, Miyajima (off the coast of Hiroshima), and Hakone (up in the mountains).

The wireless worked very well in every destination as well as in transit on the Shinkansen. Speeds were overall faster than we expected, and on par with our Verizon LTE cell service back home. We experienced outages only in tunnels while riding Shinkansen. We did have some very slow connections just a couple times, but we were in super-touristy areas at peak times, so I can’t really complain!

Comparatively, our friends used a Google Fi SIM card in their phones, and while the speed was comparable, they were constantly worried about how much bandwidth they were using. Meanwhile, we just did whatever we wanted with our phones since we had unlimited data.

Would recommend 100%! We will head back to Japan next year, and we will use Japan-Wireless again.

This is not the first time I have used Japan wireless - it’s so easily to use and being able to pick it up at the airport and dropping it back off is so nice. Also the price is great! I’m only giving it 4 stars because I did have some issues with it charging (had to turn it off to charge) and losing connectivity (it would disconnect randomly) but overall it worked well.

I rented the mifi device for 6 days while vacationing in Japan. Experience was excellent, everywhere I went, walking, home and taking public transit I was always connected. Ihighly recommend this provider.

Used the device during our trip to Tokyo, Osaka and Kyoto during April 2019, and it performed flawlessly. Extremely satisfied with the service...very convenient. Keep up the excellent work!
